"Let it go, Let it go..."

Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door!

Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and the sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see me cry.

Here I stand and here I'll stay
Let the storm rage on!

Words memorized by thousands.
Words lived out by thousands.
Thousands inspired by words.

These words ring out through my speakers. Thoughts flood my mind as I think of several things that I could let go, turn away and slam the door! Your thoughts race to areas you too could let go, turn away, and slam the door! What is that for you?

Lies. Fears. Insecurities.

I listened to a song today that took a different approach to singing out let it go.

Celebrate His love by Bethel Church.

From my inmost parts, living water flows
It cannot stay contained
I most let it go

Let it go, let it go
Let it go, let it go
Celebrate His grace
Rise up my soul
To shout His praise

Like Princess Elsa, we all have things that hurt and we let go.
Yet, we all have things we can give, we celebrate, and can't help but let go!
Do you ever get to a point of excitement that you SCREAM? - okay maybe that's just me!
But you are so full, you pour out with emotions! You let go of what is happening in the inmost part of you to be shared by the world around you!

What if that type of excitement and zeal is what we let go?

What if my attention, what if your attention was letting go (giving) of love in such purse, beautiful ways...instead of what steals our time (lies, insecurities, fears, (insert your word)...) that we so desperately sing out, "let it go."

How then do you sing, "Let it go?"

Let others around you feel the joy, beauty, and grace your letting go can produce!

Take a listen.
